Teachers Must Maximize Learning Content

But actually there are far more important things to prepare is to make learning content tools. There are 3 means of learning content in terms of interaction patterns, namely: one-way, two-way, and semi-two-way.

One-way learning content facilities such as creating learning content by uploading materials using either pdf, word, or ppt files. It is even more interesting when the teacher makes learning videos using YouTube or videos stored on Google Drive.

By uploading the video, students can open it at any time. It doesn't have to be that day. While waiting for a sufficient quota, students can take advantage of the content. Why one way? Because students cannot interact directly.

The 2-way learning content means, for example, creating virtual learning, either using zoom or google meet. The teacher presents the material with a display on the student's cellphone screen. Students can be involved by asking questions. Here too, the teacher can do an oral exam. Assessment can also be done immediately at that time.

On google meet students can take advantage of the question and answer time to discuss with the teacher. Even in views such as google meet, it also provides a display for chatting. Questions and feedback can be posted on the menu.

It is better if, after the virtual face-to-face hours are over, the teacher gives them a break room, so students can chat with other friends. This is often not done, even though students need to joke around with each other to reduce fatigue at home.

In the google meet or zoom view, the teacher not only presents material with a face view, but can also display a power point display that has been prepared at home. While presenting slide by slide, the teacher explains the material sufficiently. If students do not understand, they can ask directly.

The next learning content facility is semi two-way. This content facility allows students to interact directly, but if they are left behind, they can open the uploaded document. Its use is, for example, using virtual classes such as google classroom, edmodo, and others. Likewise, virtual whiteboards such as websites or blogs.

This Google classroom is like a replacement for a classroom. Replays can be scheduled. Other announcements such as face-to-face schedules or assignments can be facilitated. Why is it semi two-way? Because students do not have to be involved in learning at that time. There is a lag time for students to upload all assignments that must be completed. Likewise, he can download material when there is a quota or can be done at any time.

In addition, the learning content facilities above can be facilitated by WA, Facebook, telegram, or other social media. In addition, the social media can be used as a means of learning content as well.

However, if social media is the "only" means of content, then learning will not be interesting. The teacher seems to lack effort.

One of the learning content tools that is very supportive is the use of a blog or website. Through the website, students can learn what the teacher presents, whether it's YouTube views, several PPT files, PDFs, or assignments.

Creating learning content from the tools above is not an easy thing. It takes time, effort, and a lot of thought. And sometimes some teachers finish it at home.

This is only part of the teacher's job. There are still many other administrative tasks still waiting. Therefore, it is not wise when there is an assumption that teachers eat blind wages.
